4th wall breaking: Just don't let him know that he's from  a video game X)
Threadjacking: Sure thing <:
Mind reading:  NOPE.  Adrasteius is immune to this unless he permits it (and he is not likely to do so).
Location sensing: By mind-stuff, no; by magic sense, yes. (that is, his body radiates magic, so people with the ability to sense persons based on that could do so easily)
Telepathy: It is not possible to communicate telepathically with Adrasteius, again, unless he allows it.  Attempts to reach out to his mind in any way will feel like reaching out and striking against a red-hot shield.
Special/magical items: Depends!

Fighting capabilities: Adrasteius is a pacifist.  Although he is highly proficient in offensive spellwork, he would generally rather suffer injury just about to the point of death rather than strike back against someone.  However, he is an excellent healer, with a particular skill in shields against magical/physical  damage.

Injury/death: Adra's body is a literal glass cannon.  Although he can heal his own wounds rapidly and well, his bones break very easily. A punch to the jaw is enough to smash his cheek in, pretty much, and being thrown down/against something is liable to fracture a rib with this guy.  That being said, he's also a slippery fish when he wants to get away, so killing him is not as easy as it seems.  Beating him into a pulp is a fairly simple task, though, and fEEL FREE TO DO IT.  Just keep in mind that punches which would normally bruise the average person have a high likelihood of breaking Adra's bones.

Win/lose/tie: HE AIN'T GONNA FIGHT YOU.  Again, Adrasteius would almost always rather die than strike another person, even--especially--in his own defense.  If a situation gets seriously dire, he will try to escape, but it is a rare case that he will physically retaliate if he's attacked.

However, if some crazy circumstances come together and he does think he needs to retaliate, he packs a wallop, particularly with his Pyroblast (an enormous fiery boulder that incinerates whatever it touches) and Living Bomb (does what it suggests on the tin) etc.  The circumstances for him to lash out would have to be fairly severe, though.

Medical/physical info: OLD WEAK-ASS BODY.  Extremely powerful, resilient spirit.  Adrasteius's physical strength is inversely proportional to his mental/spiritual strength.  He is all but immune to mind control and other forms of mental invasion, as his will is ironclad, and his magical potential is immense.  Conversely, his body is thin, frail, and very breakable.

Romance/relationships: God why would you even want to
Sexual relations: inCONCEIVABLE
Physical contact: Adrasteius is enormously prudish and basically considers anything beyond an affectionate glance to be an unforgivable act of licentious PDA, so.  KEEP THAT LEWD HAND-HOLDING TO YOUR OWN HOME.

Other:  No triggers/squicks/etc.  Adra is also a masochist, though he doesn't exactly broadcast this.
bloodspeaker: no, not this time (Default)

I BELIEVE IN PEACE, BITCH.

 >> NAME: Adrasteius Bloodspeaker (Anor'thalion)

>>TITLE: Magister of Silvermoon

>>GENDER: Male

>>AGE: Old.  Really old.  Old as balls.

>>CLASS/RACE: Mage-priest/Blood elf.

>>HEIGHT: 5'4

>>WEIGHT: ~115 lbs
(with armor ... )

>>VOICE: Booming, deep.  Incongruous with his frame.

>>WEAPON: A giant wooden staff with a ruby set into it; called Perdition.

>>PERSONALITY:
  • POSITIVE: Loving, passionate, energetic, dedicated, perceptive, selfless, resilient, well-intentioned
  • NEGATIVE: High-strung, tactless, blunt, judgmental, hypocritical, intolerant, given to flailing, stubborn, self-righteous,  just plain fucking mean
>>IN SUM: Prickly on the outside; soft on the inside.

>>HISTORY: Adrasteius was born with boiling blood (he melted his crib, even); despite this, he and his life were peaceful and serene at the start.  He had a pleasant existence in the forests of Quel'thalas with his affluent merchant parents and twin brother, Aurelius.  As they aged, Aurelius trained to become a warrior, while Adrasteius studied the Light.  They both enlisted in the high elf army and served in numerous wars; Adrasteius was a combat medic for well over a century.

But then the Scourge invaded; the Sunwell was destroyed; the forests burned.  Adrasteius lost his parents to the fire and his brother to madness.  He, too, was lost, suddenly sickly and weak from the Sunwell's loss, just like the rest of his people.  In his desperation, he followed them in their consumption of fel (demonic) magic, thus forever turning his blue eyes to a burning, corrupted green.  In despair, Adrasteius felt the Light fail him.  He turned to the only other path he could--magecraft--but, being aware of the power in his blood, he tattooed arcane limiters all over his body in order to dampen his offensive capability.

Not long after that, he turned away from the concept of war entirely, becoming an ardent pacifist.  He looked upon the degradation of his people, and at first he shuddered at their collective weakness, their hedonism, their laziness and decadence.  His sorrow turned to rage as matters worsened: their prince went insane, allied with vile forces, and Silvermoon itself continued to crumble.  The city was glittering and oppressive on the surface, but seethed with the worst kinds of depravity just beneath the skin.

He is now determined to save his brother and the soul of his people, and as such has re-entered society, causing him to come into contact with a lot of people who do not like him very much.

>>POWERS IN BRIEF:
  • AS A PRIEST: Adrasteius is a Discipline priest, which means his powers are centered around preventing damage before it even happens.  He can cast powerful shields, remove numerous negative status effects (diseases, ill magic, etc), and his spell Penance can heal even grievous wounds rapidly.
  • AS A MAGE: His specialty here is Fire, which is centered around victory via complete and utter destruction.  However, as a pretty strict pacifist, Adra almost never uses his fire spells offensively.  Mostly he just uses low-level variations for cooking, to be honest.  He relies on the utility spells far more often--Blink (a short-range teleport), invisibility, arcane intellect, slow fall, etc.  The primary spells he uses on other people are non-offensive in nature: he is able to cast a mass polymorph that turns up to five people into some kind of animal (a cat, a penguin, a rabbit, a sheep; depends on his mood) and he will Counterspell (silence) someone who is talking TOO MUCH NONSENSE.  While in animal form, the targets cannot speak or control their own movements, but they will regenerate health rapidly.
  • MAGIC-EATING/SENSITIVITY: Adrasteius, like all blood elves, is addicted to magic.  He controls it extremely well, but he does need to eat something magical every now and then, lest he lose his mind to the hunger (why do I always play characters like this). He can also release it in a torrent that silences people around him and restores some of his mana.  Unlike other elves I could mention, he will do this with regularity, partly because he HAS to, and partly because he likes people to shut the fuck up when he's fucking talking!!
